Problems are signs of progress

“Understand that most problems are a good sign. Problems indicate that progress is being made, wheels are turning, you are moving toward your goals. Beware when you have no problems. Then you really have a problem... Problems are like landmarks of progress.” - Scott Alexander

“A problem is a chance for you to do your best.” - Duke Ellington

Never forget - a mistake is evidence that someone has tried to do something. Therefore, do not get discouraged by them but rather continue to encourage those who dare to try. With encouragement, many people can achieve wonders if they persist and persevere.

However, fear those that dare not try, worrying of making mistakes.

"People who make no mistakes lack boldness and the spirit of adventure. They are the brakes on the wheels of progress" - Dale E. Turner

What do you think?

Good stuff - the more we expand and grow, the more we come across mistakes. But they're only mistakes from o ur limited perspective.

Hello Sam..
I agree that problems help one grow in many ways. Its like a few years ago,I bought 2 identical plants and the one was outside in a pot, while the other one lived inside. Now the outdoor plant is tough and strong, but the inside plant is weak and I have to hold up its branches with a stick!!Although its more beautiful than the outdoors one,its so fragile..I am trying to wean it into the outdoors slowly but surely. Its a good lesson on accepting the problems of life, the winds and storms of daily life...for then you may grow strong and withstand any kind of weather.Hiding from problems would perhaps make you weak inside.\
Have a wonderful weekend,you and your family,Sam !!

Hi Pmonchet,

Thanks for adding your insightful views and words of wisdom.

You are right! Problems are only a temporary setback. Besides, problems are indeed mother of new discoveries or inventions.

Hi Karen,

You are welcome!

Indeed, everything becomes better because of those problems people encountered. For examples, walking takes too much time. Thus, vehicles were invented. Too problematic to type on a typewriter and thus Wordprocessor was invented and many many others.

Blessings to you, Karen.

Hi Albert,

Thanks for sharing your valuable thoughts. You are right! It all depends on our limited perspective. Every mistakes actually helping you to improves further if we don't stop at the problem.

Hi Haze,

As long as you do persist and persevere, problems do telling you that you are trying something and eventually get something out of it.

May you be blessed with more progress with all problems solved!

Blessings to you, Haze.

Persist and persevere... those good the characters that make us strong. God sends problems to exercise our mind and soul, to draw us near to Him, and build persistence and perseverance in us.

There's no problem too big God can't solve it anyway.. He said,"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Merry Christmas Sam... :-) thank you for leaving a gift under the tree.. :-D
