Learn more about me

I was tagged by Andrea of A circle of Women with the 5 things you probably don’t know about me meme. This is indeed a great way to get to know each other a little better. I had decided to reveal more about myself.

“Every day in every way I'm getting better and better”

Below are 5 Things You Probably Don’t Know About Me:
  1. I was an introvert in the past. Those days whoever asks me a question I will only answer yes or no and the conversation ends there. I had inferiority complex during that time. Anyway frequent public speaking had helped to change me. According to David Thornburg, “If we keep doing what we're doing, we'll keep getting what we got”. I believe I had improved myself because I am no more an introvert!

  2. My birthday is one day before Halloween day. So my birthday could be easily remembered! - Right?

  3. I am married on 8-8-88 and had celebrated my 19th Anniversary this year (2007). I have four boys. My children are very shy. Thus, I couldn't post their photos other than in the form of collages which can be viewed in enlarge mode.

  4. I prefer mental exercise such as playing board games such as chess instead of doing physical exercise.

  5. I am a Software Development Manager having a group of nice programmers and anits is one of my programmers.

Okay, now I would like to learn more about these people: Jennifer Jones, Surjit, Jesse, Karen, and Janice Ng.

Hi Sue,

The world has made everybody not comfortable of revealing too much because they are people who will abuse whatever information that could get. Anyway, I hope people don't abuse with my information shared.

Hi Haze,

It is more fun in life to open up a bit.

According to Joseph F. Newton Men, "People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges."

Thanks for your kind support and encouragement!

We definitely know your better after this tag. The date you got married is really an auspicious date and number. 8888 = Fatt Fatt Fatt Fatt. 4 times prosperities. :)

Hi FL Sam,

You are right! 8 is an auspicious number for us Chinese.

FYI, although my wedding dinner fall on a different date, my marriage is really on 8-8-88 as recorded in the marriage certificate. However, I only could marry my wife after I had applied a staff relief fund that my company was offering at that moment.

Thank God me and my family are blessed abundantly after all this years.

Blessings to you too my friend

Hi Sam,

It is so fun to get to know you...

You certainly are blessed!

Thank you for the tag...

I'm rather reserved when it comes to this sort of thing so I will stretch myself and go out of my comfort zone! :-)

Thank you for being such a positive light in this world!

Hugs,

Jen

Hello Sam, I see you tagged me! Thanks very much ..I may take a little while doing it as I am behind with my tags though.I love this photo of you! You have a face that is very interesting and really friendly looking! Are you standing in a restuarant in that picture? You seem quite tall too.I am glad to hear that you are no longer introverted.Being too shy sometimes keeps us back.I know,as I have been shy for quite a long time. I can relate to your children being shy as well.Awesome, thanks for sharing this with us, now we know more about the man behind the blog! Enjoyed this post a lot :)

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for your kind words.

What a coincidence! Both of us are born on the same day! Hmm.. I wonder whether could it be on the same year? :-)

Hi Jesse,

Takes your time to do the tag. No problem.

I am glad to know that my looks is good and I have a friendly look. I was standing in one of the most visited place in Malaysia known as Genting Highlands. I was in the indoor theme park where it has some of the famous world structure such as Eiffel tower, Big Ben Clock Tower, etc.

Looking forward to know more about you.

Blessings to you, Jesse!

oh, in Malaysia,Genting Highlands? Certainly not the same Genting that Mr Fong mentioned being at, probably 2 different places.
I shall do the tag, for sure.I have heard a little about Genting, when I get a moment, I intend to get a better understanding of it,perhaps get a book from the library. Its always interesting for me to have a clearer understanding of where people live. One learns a lot through reading. Happy day further to you and yours, Sam.. :)

Hi Jesse,

That's the same place that Winston (Mr Fong) is talking about. It is a famous mountain resort at about 1700m above sea level. You can find out more from
Wikipedia -about Genting Highlands or
Genting Highlands website

Have a nice weekend, Jesse.
