The Power of Love vs Fear

Love and Fear are two of the most basic and powerful human emotions. Some promote love, but then there are others that think instilling fear is more effective in getting things done. What do you think?

"Love is always creative, fear always destructive." - Emmet Fox.

"Wicked men obey for fear, but the good for love." - Aristotle.

“Love is of all passions the strongest, for it attacks simultaneously the head, the heart and the senses.” - Lao Tzu

Greater is he who acts from love than he who acts from fear. If you want more, watch this video about The Power of Love vs Fear.

Remember to radiates love instead of fear to get your children or employee do what is necessary. Choose love instead of fear if possible. If you do, a wonderful life adventure awaits you! Fear is really nothing and love is everything. Do you agree?

Love does more, much more, than fear ever will. The first quote says it all!

Hi Sue,
Thanks for the comment.

Very true love does more!

"If you have it [Love], you don't need to have anything else, and if you don't have it, it doesn't matter much what else you have." - Sir James M. Barrie

Have a good day, Sue!

Hi Sam,

I think fear is not a healthy motivator.

While it certainly works in some respects, it creates a life centered around selfishness... always worried about oneself.

Love, OTOH, is expasive and opens our hearts to care and compassion!

Nice thoughts Sam,

Jen

Love is the greatest fertilizer in the world. It's like "Miracle Grow" for the mind, body, and soul.

Fear can carry many toxicities with potential for great harm, dependent on the origination or originator.

On the other hand, if we are attuned to our inner-voice of intuition and instinct, fear tells us when to be justifiably fearful of a person or situation.

Hi there,as a tutorit is impt to have the love.sometimes we are tempted to instil fear in the kid to force them, but it has to be stopped.

That means a change in mindset,a control over the tongue,a discipline of the person, towards a loving and positive-thinking person. Thanks for this post.....

Hi Mr Fong,
Indeed, it is important for us to change our mindset, control our tongue and discipline with love instead of instilling fear.
