Remember the important things in life

You see the above almost every day and yet you might not recognize the real logo.

Indeed, there are many things that we see everyday. However, that does not mean we can remember them better because many a time, we see but do not notice. Moreover, we tend to remember what is more important, or what has had an impact.

"So often we overlook the important while attending to the urgent."

Always tell the truth - it's the easiest thing to remember” - David Mamet

“Remember, people will judge you by your actions, not your intentions. You may have a heart of gold -- but so does a hard-boiled egg.”

“Happiness isn't something you experience; it's something you remember.” - Oscar Levant

Always remember to slow down in life; live, breathe, and learn; take a look around you whenever you have time and never forget everything and every person that has the least place within your heart.

May we remember all those people who have been with us throughout the year. May we never forget what is worth remembering, nor ever remember what is best forgotten.

Hi Sam,
you are right. We are always in a hurry and with the result we forget important and finer things in life.I like this quote:
“Always tell the truth - it's the easiest thing to remember...'
Thanks for sharing your noble thoughts.
God bless.

Hi Sam- indeed, it is easier to tell the truth. As christians, perhaps it is more impt to seek righteousness over popularity or the pleasures of this world.

Another quote that I like is that we are judged by Actions, not our intentions. Hence we should rmb that we have to express what we feel, what we intend to do, and do it in the best possible way.

Life is always fast-paced for most of us, so thanks for the reminder to slow down and appreciate.

Btw, which Google was it? :-) I guess the 2nd one ;p

Hi Sam,
I once lived a fast paced life. If you could call it life. Everything was a blur and so many of those little precious moments most likely passed me by. :o(

But alas I have moved forward and opted for a more healthier pace. I find it good for body, mind and spirit. :o)

I always enjoy your inspirational posts.

Many blessings,
Tawnya

Hi Winston,

I totally agree with you! That's what the Bible says - "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." - (Matthew 6:33-34)

And also... "My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth." - (1 John 3:18)

Yup... you got the Google logo right! Well, you are a sharp observer and have good memory if you did not check it out first. :-)

Blessings to you, Winston.

oh well.. which one is the real logo?! hehehe.. ok ok.. I admit, I saw your answer to Winston.. :-)

Slow down for my hubby means having a great holiday with our family as well, just like we did yesterday. My hubby said he was glad that we really have spent more time to be together this year...

Slow down for me means to have time to read His Letter and ponder the Words... I woke up at 5 AM this morning and read about David at 2 Sam 15, when he flee from Absalom. I learned a lot from David's character. He has tender heart and always seek for God's will and willingly accept that in his life, even the Shimei's curses!

Great post, Sam...
