The secret of moving ahead

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.” - Mark Twain

Talent without discipline is like an octopus on roller skates. There's plenty of movement, but you never know if it's going to be forward, backwards, or sideways.” - H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Aim for success and strive for perfection. However, never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life.”

“The person who gets ahead is the one who does more than necessary - and keeps doing it

“To know the road ahead, ask those coming back

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for sharing your valuable views. Indeed, the first little step is the hardest. That's why everybody needs the encouragement - more importantly at the very beginning!

My best wishes.

Hi Water learner,

Thanks for sharing the nice quotes "A Journey... must begin with first step.

One of the reasons many could not get started is because it takes a lot of energy and effort initially. However, once one had it started, it can become easier eventually! This is like a rocket that need to expends most of its energy in the first few miles.
