One of the good thing I could recalled when I was working in Woodstock, Connecticut, USA is that people there are very courteous and considerate. They won't slam the door behind you. They will hold the door and wait for you. That is indeed a good culture.
It is sad to hear this sayings: “It is difficult to find a courteous person today who isn't trying to sell you something”.
Everyone gets along better when they're considerate of each other. What do you think?
“When employees respect each other and get along in the workplace, it's amazing how productivity increases, morale increases and employees are more courteous to customers.” - Maureen Wild
“The habit of being uniformly considerate toward others will bring increased happiness to you” - Grenville Kleiser
"Take care, be kind, be considerate of other people and other species, and be loving." - John Lithgow
“A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.” - St. Basil
“You should always be courteous and considerate. For most professionals, it's a small world. People know each other and you don't know when you'll run into them again.” - Ben Dattner
I am looking forward to hear from you the experiences you had.
