That's difficult or impossible!

If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it, I know I can achieve it.” - Jesse Jackson

“Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong.” - Peter T. Mcintyre

If all the world says, 'No!' it is your business to say, 'Yes!' and prove it."

The world says, "No!" in a thousand ways:
"No! You can't do that."
"No! You are wrong."
"No! You are too old."
"No! You are too young."
"No! You are too weak."
"No! It will never work."
"No! You don't have the education."
"No! You don't have the background."
"No! You don't have the money."
"No! It can't be done."

And each "No!" you hear has the potential to erode your confidence bit by bit until you quit altogether. Though the world says, "No!" to you today, will you determine to say, "Yes!" and prove it?

Don't listen to anyone who tells you that you can't do this or that. Never, never let them persuade you that things are too difficult or impossible.

To Succeed Endure All Things

"Victory belongs to the most persevering.” - Napoleon Bonaparte

Recently, I stumbled upon news about a 27-year-old Chinese woman that won the chance to buy a car for the equivalent of 6p by kissing it for more than 24 hours. That is indeed an endurance test or contest.

Likewise, we have to endure to continue blogging. Frankly speaking, I was really exhausted recently. That is one of the reasons why there wasn't any post for this couple of days. I am thankful to many of you that had encouraged me to move on.

I find the following quotes helpful:

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘press on’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.” - Calvin Coolidg

"To keep a lamp burning, we have to keep putting oil in it." - Mother Teresa

"The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." - Nelson Mandela

Life is a series of experiences, each of which makes us bigger, even though it is hard to realize this. For the world was built to develop character, and we must learn that the setbacks and grieves which we endure help us in our marching onward.” - Henry Ford

“The will to persevere is often the difference between failure and success” - David Sarnoff

Indeed, endurance is one of the most difficult disciplines. To prevail, you need to endure. Avoid people that try to belittle your ambition. Choose your environment with care, one that is positive, one that lifts you up and empowers you to achieve your goals.

Awaken your potential!

"You are the only person on earth who can use your ability." - Zig Ziglar

We are all born with potential. The potential for greatness actually lives within each of us.

However, many still do not realize of those unique potential of body, mind and spirit that he or she possesses. Sometimes, we just don't know how great we can be! What we can accomplish! And what our potential is!

"No matter what the level of your ability, you have more potential than you can ever develop in a lifetime." - James T. Mccay

To be successful, it is very important to know where to set your focus. The key to unlock our potential is continuous effort and be improvement-conscious. To unleash your potential, you need to get rid of your false beliefs.

"Questions provide the key to unlocking our unlimited potential." - Anthony Robbins

"To accomplish great things we must first dream, then visualize, then plan... believe... act!" - Alfred A. Montapert

Do find out how and I hope you can live up to your full potential.

Develop Your Will Power

Have you seen the following videos from my Inspiring Videos blog?

After having seen the above videos, I believe you will agree with me that "Where there's a will, there's a way."

Too many develop every talent except the talent to use all other talents - Will power. In our every day tasks, we need will power to get things done. With it, many could overcome boredom, drudgery and obstacles. The most valuable education is that which trains us to do what should be done, when it should be done, whether we feel like it or not.

"Willpower is the key to success. Successful people strive no matter what they feel by applying their will to overcome apathy, doubt or fear." - Dan Millman

"People do not lack strength; they lack will." - Victor Hugo

"Willpower is the strength of mind to carry out one's goals." - Sandy Anderson

“The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.” - Confucius

An ounce of will power is worth a pound of knowledge. It takes guts to leave ruts. Successful men acquire the will power to make themselves do what success demands. They do the things failures don't like to do or can't make themselves do.

"There are dozens of success traits; but will power is the tool that builds them all. To develop will power or discipline, do one useful thing every day for no other reason than that you don't feel like doing it. In my 40 years of studying psychology, that's the best exercise I've found for developing will power" - the method of Wm. James, Harvard psychologist.

Well, what ways do you employ to strengthen your will power?

Little by little and step by step

The Power of Concentration

“One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular.” - Anthony Robbins

"The ability to focus on one thing single-mindedly and see it through until it’s done takes more character than anything else." - Brian Tracy

“The ability to concentrate and to use your time well is everything” - Lee Iacocca

“Concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand. The sun's rays do not burn until brought to a focus.” - Alexander Graham Bell

As the gardener prunes the tree to draw the sap into one or two branches, so must we concentrate on one or two to avoid scattering our talents.

The strong by scattering their energies, accomplish nothing. The weak, by concentrating on one thing, build big business.

“It seems essential, in relationships and all tasks, that we concentrate only on what is most significant and important.” - Soren Kierkegaard

An exercise in concentration: Once a week, ask yourself: "Is this thing I'm doing right now helping me reach my chief goal?" If it isn't, change it.

Knowledge is only potential power

People, with rare exceptions, do not fail because they lack knowledge, education or talents. They fail chiefly because of what they do not do.

What we need around here is not more "knowing" but more "doing"... not more knowledge, but more action. A sure sign of progress is: quit reading and start doing - taking action.

Knowing is not enough; So ensure you use what you had acquired!

There is always a way - Patience required

Don't be discouraged

Problems are only opportunities with thorns on them.

The difficulties of life are intended to make us better, not bitter.

Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet - sometimes a fortune builder.

First try seldom wins great success.

No one ever fails. They just quit trying. Many of our greatest men tried and failed so often they decided to quit - but tried once more - and won.

Be a Winner

Most of us think we're not lazy because we're always busy. Too often we're busy doing useless things -- forgetting our main goal in life.

Everyone likes to do what he likes and not what should be done.

The most valuable education is that which trains us to do what should be done, when it should be done, whether we feel like it or not. That is what we called "Will Power". - Huxley

The Power Of Vision

"Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." - Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)

Dream the impossible dream. Dreaming it may make it possible. It often has.

The dreamers are the builders of the future - if they don't stop at dreaming.

Unless we have our inner Feeling, Vision, or Goal, and develop it, we may know exactly what to do to succeed, but we won't do it.

No amount of brains or will power can take the place of this strong inner feeling. Without it, the best plans, the soundest reasons will fade like New Year Resolutions.

Goal Setting and Will Power

Thirty minutes a day aimed at one thing can convert a nobody into a somebody.

The college degree is no longer the Golden Key to success. The Golden Key is always was, and always will be: Goal Setting and Will Power - doing what should be done, when it should be done, whether we feel like it or not.

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first, and call whatever you hit the target.

If you want to be happy for a day, have a party; if for a week, take a trip; if for a year, plant a garden; if for life, find a worthy goal.

The quality of your life depends on your goals.
