The Challenges that lie ahead

“The best way to predict the future is to invent it.” - Alan Kay

When I was a young boy, I was a huge fan of both TV series “The Six Million Dollar Man” and “The Bionic Woman”. What we can imagine we can create and indeed it has become a reality and this technology is now available. That's the Power of Imagination.

A power-line technician, Mitchell who lost both arms to a severe electric shock was the first person that gets a bionic arm.

Take a look at the presentation below where the author believes that Shift Happens.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” - Eleanor Roosevelt

“The only way to predict the future is to have power to shape the future.” - Eric Hoffer

“The wise man must remember that while he is a descendant of the past, he is a parent of the future.” - Herbert Spencer

Each of us has a role that requires us to change and become more responsible for shaping our own future. What do you think? Do you agree that Shift happens as set forth by the slide presentation?

Hi Haze,

Bionic Woman is an upcoming American science fiction television drama. I am not so sure whether it is good compare to when the old series I watch when I was a lad. However, from the wikipedia , it was stated that the pilot episode was leaked on the internet and available for download on popular torrent sites

If I am not mistaken, you had missed those messages from the presentation slide. Well, do take a look and you will get some insight about what lies ahead.

You too have a great weekend, Haze!

Hi Sam! Nice post. Technologies and knowledge will change with time but moral values that we value will remain unchanged as time passes by.
